Shoot one of three distinctly unique sporting clays courses designed to offer different experiences that challenge, educate, and excite shooters of all skill levels. Staccato Ranch features all-Promatic throwers for the best shooting experience with the lowest breakage for clay shooters.

Mesquite Flats (Standard)
Classic Target Presentations with Smooth Transitions
Mesquite Flats is the foundation of our sporting clay experience and the perfect place to build confidence and consistency. Featuring classic target presentations with smooth transitions, this course emphasizes fundamentals while still offering enough variety to keep seasoned shooters engaged. Rolling terrain and open sightlines make Mesquite Flats approachable, enjoyable, and ideal for warming up or refining technique.
Skyline (Intermediate)
More Complex Presentations & Target Diversity
Skyline raises the bar with more complex presentations and increased target diversity. This course challenges shooters with longer distances, varied angles, and strategic use of terrain. Skyline is designed for those ready to push beyond the basics and sharpen their decision-making, timing, and shot placement—all while taking in some of the most scenic views on the ranch.
Cedar Ridge (Advanced)
Built for Experienced Shooters Wanting to Test Their Skill
Cedar Ridge is our most demanding course, built for experienced shooters seeking a true test of skill. Technical presentations that require precision, discipline, and adaptability, including deceptive target lines and tough facing targets. Winding through rugged Hill Country terrain, Cedar Ridge showcases Dan Carlisle’s most intricate course design—rewarding patience and mastery with an unforgettable shooting experience.
Meadows (5-Stand)
Fully Covered 5-Stand
Join us for a 5-Stand League or shoot on our fully covered Meadows 5-Stand for practice with dynamic target pairings. Meadows offers a fun way to train or compete with the lowest member clay cost in Texas.
Creek (5-Stand)
5 Stand Course
The Creek 5-Stand is one of two dedicated 5-stand courses at Staccato Ranch, set in the open meadow terrain with clear sight lines in every direction. Five shooting cages face out across the flats, with trap machines positioned to throw a wide variety of target presentations.

Staccato Ranch NSCA Shoots

Join us for monthly NSCA Registered Shoots on courses set by Dan Carlisle. Each shoot includes a 100 Bird Main Event, Super Sporting, 5 Stand, and Sub-Gauge Events.
