Todd Hodnett, the elite mind behind Accuracy 1st, is hosting a rare civilian course, exclusively to Staccato Freedom members. This is not your typical long-range training. It’s a unique opportunity to train under the direct guidance of one of the most respected precision rifle instructors in the world.
Todd Hodnett focuses almost exclusively on military training, working with some of the most elite shooters, units, and militaries globally. This truly one-of-a-kind experience gives you the chance to learn firsthand from the very best in precision rifle training.
What To Expect
This two-day course will take place on location at Staccato Vegas.
Each day begins in the classroom, diving deep into ballistics. Nothing is overlooked, and every question is answered. The goal is to give each shooter a complete understanding of how ballistic variables interact—within the constraints of density altitude, ballistic coefficients, standard deviation variations, muzzle velocity spreads, and overall weapon system capabilities—to accurately determine hit probabilities.
Todd will also cover weapon and caliber selection, including ammunition choices for both hunting and target shooting. Additional topics include reticle and scope selection, as well as laser rangefinder selection and proper usage.

- Body position - Better control of the rifle for aiming and recoil management
- Wind - How to read wind and how to adjust for it

Equipment List
- Rifle with scope - A rifle and scope can be provided at an additional charge if needed. We recommend using our classroom rifles, as they are set up for optimal performance and the best possible training experience.
- A rifle and scope can be added for $50 per day per shooter if needed. Please note: .50 caliber rifles are not permitted.
- 300 rounds of ammunition recommended
- Eye and ear protection
- Sunscreen and weather-appropriate clothing for hours outside shooting
- Notebook or notepad and pen
