Both ranches are private. Guests visit alongside a sponsoring member or by prior arrangement with our staff — there is no walk-up access at either property.

Give yourself half an hour before your first start time. Thirty minutes covers check-in, the waiver and the safety briefing without rushing, plus the drive out to your bay.

Each property has its own hours, and they vary based on the season. Please call or email us ahead of your visit to ensure you have the latest information.

Dress for a long day outside: light, breathable layers in colors that do not hold heat. A crew neck, collared shirt or hooded sun shirt all work well, and a brimmed hat worn forward is recommended.

Closed-toe shoes with a grip sole are required — no sandals or canvas slip-ons. You will walk more than you expect, over gravel, caliche and loose rock.

Long, light pants beat shorts on the rock and in the brush.

Eye and ear protection are required. Bring your own if you have it — glasses rated to ANSI Z87.1 and muffs or plugs in the 22–33 dB range — and the pro shop has loaners if you do not.

Lots of water, sunscreen and lip balm, and insect repellent — especially in Texas. Everything on the list is about staying comfortable through the day, and if you forget it or would rather not travel with it, our full-service pro shops will have you covered.

Factory ammunition is welcome, or you can buy it at the pro shop.

Yes. Handguns and rifles are available for rent, including the full current Staccato lineup. Rental use requires a staff member to be present.

Texas is hot and humid from late spring through September; Nevada is hot and dry, then sees temperatures drop once the sun is off the valley floor. Both properties are exposed, with steady wind and summer highs above 100°F. Shade is limited but available.

Start hydrated: drink water the night before and throughout your visit. In July and August, book morning relays. In Nevada, plan for sharp temperature swings between morning and afternoon.

Our staff carefully monitors the weather and will issue property wide alerts should danger arise.

Paper targets are welcome. Steel, reactive, and explosive targets must be approved by a staff member before use.

Drawing from a holster is permitted after proof of competence has been witnessed by a staff member.
