Disruptive Science, or D5, is designed as a foundational course to accelerate the learning curve of all students regardless of background or experience level. The majority of courses within the shooting community simply focus on the gun. Our multiday course formats focus on the science of the human body, brain and handgun performance. Handgun shooting and performance has its own unique challenges due to the weapon system itself and how we integrate that system into the mechanics of the human body. The D5 curriculum takes a deep dive into all of the human factors that affect both learning and performance. Once we develop a greater understanding of the body and brain, we then progress to the application of the handgun including thinking, shooting and overall manipulation of the system.
