SUMMARY:Performance Carry with Mike Pannone
DESCRIPTION:Location: Staccato Ranch\, Co Rd 233\, Florence TX 76527 \nTime: 9am-5pm \nCost: $400 \nPerformance Carry \nThis training is Mike and Pat’s signature course. \nIt is a fast-paced course designed to give attendees not only the technical\, but the practical understanding of the effective employment of their pistol from a covert concealed location. The metric of evaluation is the MEC (Marksmanship Evaluation Course) as found on the website. \nThis course is based upon both Mike and Pats collective 50 + years of operational and training experience with firearms: \nMike’s background: \nFormer member of the 1st SFOD-D; instructor to the Federal Air Marshal Service (serving as the Head Range Instructor at the F.A.M.S. School) and as the Chief In-Service Instructor at the Seattle Field Office of the F.A.M.S. training; Skills and experience taught and utilized during protection operations in Iraq; refined training for a course taught to high-level Special Operations Forces assets prior to high threat deployments involving covert operations. \nPat’s background: \nActive Police Sergeant with 21 years of service with the Long Beach Police Department. He is currently a swat team leader\, and range master. Prior to joining the department\, he served six years active duty as a Marine infantryman. \nPatrick is currently a swat sergeant and team leader\, with 16 years of experience as a sniper\, entry team member\, explosive breacher\, and EMT. He has numerous POST certifications\, and real-world experience in patrol\, swat\, and plain clothes operations. He has conducted hundreds of swat missions including dignitary protection\, ship boarding/water operations\, high-risk warrant service\, hostage rescue\, and fugitive apprehension. \nThe goals of this course: \n• to safely make the student an extremely competent legal concealed pistol carrier (civilian\, law enforcement or military) \n• provide a foundation of drills and concepts for the student to maintain his/her skills at their own range. \nThis course is geared toward all civilian\, law enforcement and military personnel involved in detective work\, undercover operations\, covert surveillance operations\, V.I.P. protection details\, as well as every day off-duty or legally permitted carry. \nThis is the next evolution of the CTT-Solutions Covert Carry course that has been taught for the last 6 years. The new curriculum puts a premium on movement in the form of turns as well as traditional shooting while moving. There will also be an emphasis on multiple targets and strict accountability of marksmanship all while putting a heavy emphasis on high performance gun handling skills from concealment. \nAll shooting will be from 10-25 yards\, and outside of sight-zero verification and one string on one drill\, all shooting will begin facing away from the target at either 90 or 180 . Curriculum is built around a non-compensated\, optics mounted handgun with a 4.9” barrel or less because that is what the overwhelming preponderance of people carry for work or EDC and is also the size of most duty guns. \nThe Performance Carry Course is different. It has progressively difficult marksmanship challenges that require you to execute what we call “Marksmanship in application\, not in isolation ©”. By putting a premium on movement at the draw\, shooters will increase their skill at rapidly accessing and applying a firearm with high levels of accuracy\, while moving. All courses of fire will begin facing away from the target\, require movement\, and include low percentage shots and no shoot targets. Distances will be from 7-25 yards with 90% at 10-25yds. \nThe use of a firearm for defensive purposes is rarely done from a static position\, braced\, waiting for a 3 second delay\, and with the garment you specifically picked because it’s the easiest one to clear. We change all the above but the garment. As for the garment\, we highly encourage bringing several different ones\, so the shooter can learn how to work beyond any clothing limitations. \nThe course will require: \n· 500 rounds of ammunition \n· Serviceable handgun of 9mm or larger caliber \n· Pistol Mounted red/green dot Electro-Optical sight (highly recommended but not required) \n· Electronic hearing protection (safety requirement) \n· Concealment holster (no duty rigs with shirt over it unless you’re LE and that’s your duty setup) \n· Multiple common garments that the shooter wears \n· 4 magazines and minimum of 1 mag carrier (no pocket carry of magazines allowed) \n  \nRegister Here!

SUMMARY:Performance Pistol Optics with Mike Pannone *Open to LE and civilians!
DESCRIPTION:Location: Staccato Ranch\, 1223 Co Rd 233\, Florence TX 76527 \nTime: 9am-5pm \nCost: $650 \nThis optics-based course is a combination and an evolution of the previous action pistol and LE pistol courses taught by CTT-Solutions. \nThe curriculum puts a premium on proven shooting\, and movement techniques\, and employs applicable drills to demonstrate and refine those skills. It is a movement-based course so nearly all the shooting will be executed with a minimum of 90° turns and most drills will involve multiple movement and setup stages. \nThe gun handling and marksmanship requirements will be challenging\, by using timers\, distance\, target availability and movement to exercise\, explore and refine high performance shooting skills. It is sport shooting based and since combative shooting and sport shooting are essentially the same skillsets\, just with different applications\, the LE/civilian blend makes it even more beneficial for both LE and civilians attending. \nAt specified times during the course\, you will be highly encouraged to go at an exploratory pace to see your true capabilities\, at true maximum speed. That concept will be explained in detail and demonstrated. \nStudent requirements: \nIntermediate to advanced level of skill. Load\, reload\, malfunctions and moving with a firearm safely are a must. \n·        Minimum 1000 rds. of ammunition \n·        Belt mounted holster and at least 2 magazine pouches. \n·   Minimum of four 15+ capacity magazines\, 8\, less than 15 rd. magazines \n·        Oil and any necessary weapons maintenance equipment. \n·        Electronic hearing protection \n·        Clear and tinted eye protection \n·        Clothing suitable for the weather \n  \nRegister Here!
