SUMMARY:Baer Solutions - Pistol LVL 1
DESCRIPTION:Baer Solutions – Pistol LVL 1\nSignup Here\nThis is a level 1 pistol course that will stress fundamentals\, and most importantly providing the “how” and the “why” in addition to what you are trying to accomplish throughout the training day. \nBy the end of the day each shooter will know where they are at and what to work on as you go forward in your training. This is not a course where you will just be led through drills and told what you are doing wrong. Here we will work on fixing them based on what works for you. Identifying your deficiencies and giving you the tools to improve is the end state of the class. We will progress from fundamentals to multiple target transitions. \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis class is meant as an intro to pistol shooting and is considered a level one class. We will cover the fundamentals for the majority of the day and focus on diagnosing the shooter’s individual problems to ensure progress. \n\n\nThe class will receive a safety brief\, medical plan\, loading unloading procedures\, range rules\, and of course filling out waivers before we begin. \n\n\nThe program of instruction for the day will begin with a standards test\, fundamentals\, actions such as scanning after an engagement\, and progress into multiple target engagements. \n\n\nStudents can use a concealed carry holster or an outside the waistband. Duty belts are recommended if that is what you primarily use. \n\n\nIf a student wishes to use a single stack pistol\, have the ability to carry 3 magazines on you\, in addition to your loaded magazine. \n\n\nMinimum round count is 550 for pistol\, and as always\, more ammo is better. \n\n\nOnce you are registered for this class you will receive a pre-class questionnaire to fill out and return and your class packing list.

SUMMARY:CTT Solutions - Performance Pistol
DESCRIPTION:CTT Solutions – Performance Pistol\nSignup Here\nPerformance Pistol-\nThis course is a combination and an evolution of the previous action pistol and LE pistol courses taught by CTT-Solutions that emphasize what are the three most critical parts of action shooting: \n\n\nVision \n\n\nGrip \n\n\nMovement \n\n\nThe curriculum puts a premium on proven shooting\, and movement techniques\, and employs applicable drills to demonstrate and refine those skills. \nIt is a movement-based course so nearly all the shooting will be executed with a minimum of 90° turns and most drills will involve multiple movement and setup stages. \nThe gun handling and marksmanship requirements will be challenging by using timers\, distance\, target availability\, vision barriers\, and movement. With those factors\, we will exercise\, explore and refine high performance shooting skills. \nIt is sport shooting based and since combative shooting and sport shooting are essentially the same skillsets\, just with different applications\, the LE/civilian blend makes it even more beneficial for both LE and civilians attending. \nAt specified times during the course\, you will be highly encouraged to go at an exploratory pace to see your true capabilities\, at true maximum speed. That concept will be explained in detail and demonstrated. \nThe big 3 takeaways from the course will be a refined and actionable understanding of: \n1. Target focus \n2. Consistent and durable grip \n3. Movement and setup strategies \nStudent requirements: \nIntermediate to advanced level of skill. Load\, reload\, malfunctions and moving with a firearm safely are a must. \n· Minimum 750 rds. of ammunition (1 day) 1500rds (2 day) \n· Belt mounted holster and at least 2 magazine pouches. \n· Minimum of four 15+ capacity magazines\, 8\, less than 15 rd. magazines \n· Oil and any necessary weapons maintenance equipment. \n· Electronic hearing protection \n· Clear and tinted eye protection \n· Clothing suitable for the weather \nMike’s Background: \nFormer member of the 1st SFOD-D; instructor to the Federal Air Marshal Service (serving as the Head Range Instructor at the F.A.M.S. School) and as the Chief In-Service Instructor at the Seattle Field Office of the F.A.M.S. training; Skills and experience taught and utilized during protection operations in Iraq; refined training for a course taught to high-level Special Operations Forces assets prior to high threat deployments involving covert operations.

SUMMARY:CTT Solutions - Performance Carry
DESCRIPTION:Performance Carry\nSignup Here\nThis training is Mike and Pat’s signature course. \nIt is a fast-paced course designed to give attendees not only the technical\, but the practical understanding of the effective employment of their pistol from a covert concealed location. The metric of evaluation is the MEC (Marksmanship Evaluation Course) as found on the website. \nThe goals of this course: \n• to safely make the student an extremely competent legal concealed pistol carrier (civilian\, law enforcement or military) \n• provide a foundation of drills and concepts for the student to maintain his/her skills at their own range. \nThis course is geared toward all civilian\, law enforcement and military personnel involved in detective work\, undercover operations\, covert surveillance operations\, V.I.P. protection details\, as well as every day off-duty or legally permitted carry. \nThis is the next evolution of the CTT-Solutions Covert Carry course that has been taught for the last 6 years. The new curriculum puts a premium on movement in the form of turns as well as traditional shooting while moving. There will also be an emphasis on multiple targets and strict accountability of marksmanship all while putting a heavy emphasis on high performance gun handling skills from concealment. \nAll shooting will be from 10-25 yards\, and outside of sight-zero verification and one string on one drill\, all shooting will begin facing away from the target at either 90 or 180 . Curriculum is built around a non-compensated\, optics mounted handgun with a 4.9” barrel or less because that is what the overwhelming preponderance of people carry for work or EDC and is also the size of most duty guns. \nThe Performance Carry Course is different. It has progressively difficult marksmanship challenges that require you to execute what we call “Marksmanship in application\, not in isolation”. By putting a premium on movement at the draw\, shooters will increase their skill at rapidly accessing and applying a firearm with high levels of accuracy\, while moving. All courses of fire will begin facing away from the target\, require movement\, and include low percentage shots and no shoot targets. Distances will be from 7-25 yards with 90% at 10-25yds. \nThe use of a firearm for defensive purposes is rarely done from a static position\, braced\, waiting for a 3 second delay\, and with the garment you specifically picked because it’s the easiest one to clear. We change all the above but the garment. As for the garment\, we highly encourage bringing several different ones\, so the shooter can learn how to work beyond any clothing limitations. \nThe course will require: \n· 750 rounds of ammunition \n· Serviceable handgun of 9mm or larger caliber \n· Pistol Mounted red/green dot Electro-Optical sight (highly recommended but not required) \n· Electronic hearing protection (safety requirement) \n· Concealment holster (no duty rigs with shirt over it unless you’re LE and that’s your duty setup) \n· Multiple common garments that the shooter wears \n· 4 magazines and minimum of 1 mag carrier (no pocket carry of magazines allowed) \n\nMike’s Background: \nFormer member of the 1st SFOD-D; instructor to the Federal Air Marshal Service (serving as the Head Range Instructor at the F.A.M.S. School) and as the Chief In-Service Instructor at the Seattle Field Office of the F.A.M.S. training; Skills and experience taught and utilized during protection operations in Iraq; refined training for a course taught to high-level Special Operations Forces assets prior to high threat deployments involving covert operations.

SUMMARY:CTT Solutions - Deep Concealment Pistol
DESCRIPTION:CTT Solutions – Deep Concealment Pistol\nSignup Here\nDeep Concealment Pistol \nWe will explore the two most important skill requirements when employing a micro-compact pistol for defensive purposes. These two critical requirements are: \n-extremely refined and efficient grip \n-acquiring that grip from concealment\, properly\, rapidly\, and consistently \nWe will push the distances from 5 to 25 yds with progressively more challenging targets; the addition of movement; and more aggressive time standards. \nThis approach will demonstrate the tremendous capabilities of those handguns\, despite some dimensional challenges. \nThis course will be shooter and gun specific\, with individual instruction\, repetition\, and challenging courses of fire. \nThis methodology is well vetted and routinely used to achieve technique and skill refinement in the most efficient manner. \nThe course is the culmination of 2 years and 25k rounds of experience shooting multiple different micro-compact models. That was executed with various optic and iron sight setups for the micro size category of guns\, which are currently the best sellers nationwide. \nThese include P365. G42/43x/48\, Springfield Hellcat\, Canik MC9\, and Arex Delta M. The performance capabilities of these small guns are vastly understated and underappreciated\, and they are often looked at as a 70% solution vs a mid\, or full-size handgun. \nThis course is for those who routinely carry them and desire to take their skills to the next level. \nCourse requirements: \n• Handgun in caliber 9mm or larger comparable in size to a G43x/48 or P365 (if you want to shoot a .380\, contact us for gun suitability) \n• Kydex holster \n• 1 magazine pouch intended for concealment \n• Minimum 4x magazines of 10 round capacity or more\, or 6 magazines if less than 10 rd capacity) \n• Belt suitable for concealment (Tenicore Zero belt is the standard in my opinion) \n• Minimum of 500 rds. of training ammunition with a recommendation of 750 rds. (we will easily go through 500 rds. and that is with a max round count per drill of 4rds without a reload and 6 with a reload) \n• Electric hearing protection \n• Eye protection (colored for sun protection and clear for cloudy conditions) \n• Clothing suitable for the weather \n• Maintenance and logistic support for your firearm and optic (cleaning supplies\, tools\, and batteries) \n\nMike’s Background: \nFormer member of the 1st SFOD-D; instructor to the Federal Air Marshal Service (serving as the Head Range Instructor at the F.A.M.S. School) and as the Chief In-Service Instructor at the Seattle Field Office of the F.A.M.S. training; Skills and experience taught and utilized during protection operations in Iraq; refined training for a course taught to high-level Special Operations Forces assets prior to high threat deployments involving covert operations.
